Imagine a Far North Queensland where the best healthcare is close to home

The Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation is a charity with a difference.

We’re local through and through, with every dollar raised going directly to improving the services and facilities of the 66 public hospitals and healthcare centres in FNQ.

How? We run our own social enterprises to cover our day-to-day costs, so your contribution doesn’t get chipped away by hidden administration fees. 100% goes where it’s needed most.

Since 1997, we’ve partnered with health providers, the FNQ community, and an army of volunteers to fund modern equipment, facilities, training, research and support services across the full spectrum of healthcare needs. We put all the players and pieces together to bring quality healthcare close to home for everyone in FNQ.

Did you know our charity status is endorsed by the Australian Government? That means you can be confident we’ll manage your donations with the highest integrity.

Join us in putting the pieces together for a healthier north.

Our Impact

Over the years, we’ve raised millions of dollars for incredible equipment and facilities, advocated for the region’s healthcare needs, and provided grants for our healthcare professionals to keep learning and growing. None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our volunteers, the generosity of the community, and the support of our corporate partners.

We are eternally grateful.
